The Charles Darwin room brings groups of up to 25 together in a bright first-floor space where natural light streams through large windows throughout the day. We've watched teams transform this versatile room from boardroom discussions for 19 to theatre presentations for 26, with our green chairs adding energy to every configuration. Our smart screen does more than display presentations, it's a complete workstation with touchscreen capabilities that connects directly to Teams and Zoom. During strategy sessions, groups annotate their ideas in real-time on the interactive display while colleagues join remotely. The built-in PC means presenters walk in, plug in their USB, and start immediately without wrestling with cables or adaptors. We regularly host everything from training workshops to board meetings here. The whiteboard and flipchart complement the digital tools, particularly useful when teams need to capture quick ideas during brainstorming. Our high-speed Wi-Fi handles everyone's devices simultaneously, whether that's 20 laptops during a training day or tablets for interactive workshops. Getting here couldn't be simpler, with Holborn, Chancery Lane, and Russell Square stations all within walking distance. Coffee breaks happen at Knockbox just around the corner, while Ciao Bella and Eat Tokyo provide lunch options for working meals. The Charles Dickens Museum nearby offers an interesting diversion for team outings between sessions. Our reception team coordinates everything from specific room layouts to dietary requirements for catering. Nice large space, exactly what we needed. Plenty of chairs and tables that could be moved and reconfigured easily throughout the afternoon.
