The Garrett Anderson Room greets you with soaring arched windows that frame views of Great Smith Street below, filling the space with natural light throughout the day. We've found this first-floor room works brilliantly for teams who appreciate a bright, airy environment for their meetings and training sessions. You'll have plenty of flexibility with how you arrange the space. We can set up theatre-style seating for 35 delegates, create a boardroom layout for 25 people, arrange U-shaped seating for 25, or go with cabaret style for 24. The dark blue upholstered chairs provide comfortable seating for longer sessions, while our versatile tables adapt easily to your preferred configuration. The green carpet and neutral walls create a calm backdrop, complemented by Mark Spain's limited-edition collagraphs that add character without distraction. Everything you need for presentations is already here: whiteboard, flipchart with pens, and overhead projector. Our complimentary Wi-Fi keeps everyone connected throughout your session. When you need refreshments, the Wash House Café downstairs serves breakfast from 8am, with hot lunches available between noon and 2:15pm. We can arrange for coffee and snacks to be brought directly to your room, or your group can use the break to stretch their legs and continue discussions in our communal areas. Our venue sits in the heart of Westminster, about a 10-minute walk from both St James's Park and Westminster stations. The entire building, including the Garrett Anderson Room, has full disabled access. We regularly host corporate meetings, training workshops, and small conferences here. Some guests have mentioned the room can get warm during summer months, so we always ensure plenty of water is available and do our best to keep everyone comfortable throughout their event.
