Pull up a chair around our black meeting table in the Upper room, where six people can gather comfortably for focused discussions. The transparent chairs might look delicate, but they're surprisingly sturdy, and those pops of red on the table legs add just enough colour to keep things interesting without being distracting. We've positioned this room to catch plenty of natural light through the windows, which makes morning meetings feel particularly energising. The white walls and ceiling keep everything feeling spacious, while the dark door provides a nice contrast against all that brightness. It's one of those spaces that photographs well for video calls too, which we know matters these days. The room works brilliantly for board meetings, client presentations, or those intense brainstorming sessions where you need everyone around one table. We've kept the design deliberately simple because we find that helps people focus on what they're there to discuss, rather than getting distracted by unnecessary decoration. Our venue sits in a converted Victorian industrial building, and while you can't see the original brickwork from this particular room, you'll walk past it through our cobbled courtyard on your way in. The whole building has that interesting mix of historical character and modern functionality that seems to inspire good work. Getting here takes just five minutes on foot from Caledonian Road tube station, which puts you one stop from King's Cross and its major rail connections. We're used to people popping in from all over London for meetings here, and the transport links make that genuinely easy. The Upper room has become particularly popular with small teams who need somewhere quiet to hash out ideas without interruption.
