The room can accommodate up to 85 people depending on the layout selected. The Red Lion Hotel has a wealth of charm and character, enhanced by beamed ceilings and open fires. Inside, it is still the perfect picture of an old English inn whilst offering modern-day facilities coupled with attentive service. The Red Lion Hotel has been welcoming guests since 1736, when it was first recorded as a coaching inn. As a substantial and well-found inn, The Red Lion saw plenty of custom not just from travellers on the Portsmouth- Southampton road but also from sea captains whose ships were being unloaded and turned round at the town’s quay. A favourite with locals and travellers, the hotel offers guests a warm welcome and great hospitality. There is a fully-equipped self-contained conference room, and the hotel is the perfect setting for meetings, conferences and events. We will provide the facilities and attentive service needed to ensure that your meeting or conference runs as planned from start to finish. The room includes a buffet lunch, coffee & tea, as well as an LCD projector and flipcharts. The room cost is £150 for 6 people, with an extra £25 for each additional person.
