Our architectural studio at Bennetts Associates occupies a fascinating collection of buildings right here at 1 Rawstorne Place in Clerkenwell. We've transformed what was once a printworks, an 18th-century barn, and our newer extension into a working environment that reflects how we approach architecture - respecting the past while building for the future. The old barn forms the heart of our studio, and we've kept its original exposed brickwork throughout the restoration. Around it, a cobbled courtyard connects all our buildings, creating natural gathering spots where our team catches up between projects. The former printworks now houses our main workspace across two floors, with 22 desks on the first floor that we make available for hire (minimum of 6 desks). Large windows run along the walls, bringing daylight deep into the open-plan layout. We've designed our facilities to support different ways of working. Our meeting rooms handle everything from client presentations to internal reviews, while the model-making workshop lets us test ideas in three dimensions. The ground floor houses '326 Downstairs' - our multipurpose space that shifts between dining area, crit room, and venue for lectures and talks. This flexibility means we can host workshops, seminars, exhibitions, and networking events without disrupting daily studio life. Getting here couldn't be easier - Angel station sits just 5 minutes away, and Farringdon railway and tube stations are within a 15-minute walk.
