We've spent years perfecting this 1930s steel barge into what many call Britain's biggest houseboat, right here in St Katharine Docks Marina. The transformation from working vessel to modern workspace has created something genuinely different – a floating venue that catches people off guard when they first step aboard. Our upper deck opens into a bright reception area where floor-to-ceiling windows frame the marina. We've watched countless meetings pause mid-conversation as Tower Bridge lights up at dusk. The L-shaped sofa seats eight comfortably, though most groups end up spreading between here and the winter garden on the foredeck. That outdoor space, furnished and covered, works brilliantly for breakout sessions or informal gatherings – we've hosted everything from morning yoga sessions to evening cocktail receptions there. The kitchen runs along the port side, fully equipped for proper catering. Our dining table seats ten, and yes, the coffee machine is commercial-grade – a detail our regular clients particularly appreciate. The study at the stern has become a favorite spot for one-on-ones or quiet work, with those Tower Bridge views providing an unexpectedly calming backdrop. Downstairs feels completely different. The second reception area faces the Thames, where another L-shaped sofa creates a more intimate meeting space around our decorative fireplace. Five bedrooms spread along the corridor – three with king or queen beds and private bathrooms, including one with a proper sauna. The remaining two share facilities but work well for production crews or support staff. We're ten minutes from Tower Hill station, though most arrive via the marina entrance off East Smithfield. The A100 runs nearby, and there's pay-and-display parking throughout the docks. Workshop groups, film crews, and corporate teams book us regularly – the combination of meeting spaces, overnight accommodation, and that unmistakable floating sensation creates an environment where standard office thinking tends to drift away with the tide.
