About The Kings Head (Mayfair)
The King's Head has been serving Mayfair since 1710, and we're still going strong in our traditional pub home just a short walk from Green Park station. Our dark-wood interiors and leather banquettes create the kind of atmosphere that makes people want to settle in for the afternoon, whether they're popping in for a quick pint or hosting their company's quarterly meeting. We've got three distinct spaces that work brilliantly for different occasions. Our Cellar Bar downstairs holds up to 100 guests and comes with its own private bar, plus we've installed a projector and flatscreen for presentations or match viewing. The Dining Room upstairs also accommodates 100 people, with its own bar setup and more refined décor that suits everything from birthday dinners to corporate events. And yes, we really do have a taxidermied polar bear keeping watch over our office space – it's become quite the conversation starter during business meetings. Our kitchen serves proper British pub food throughout the day, with our signature pies being particularly popular for working lunches. Behind the bar, we pour a rotating selection of cask ales alongside our extensive whisky and gin collections, plus fine wines for those who prefer them. The proximity to Buckingham Palace and the West End theatres means we often host pre-theatre dinners and post-show drinks. Whether you need a professional setting for client meetings, a relaxed space for team gatherings, or somewhere to throw a proper party, our spaces adapt to what you need. The combination of our historic character and modern amenities like AV equipment means we can handle pretty much anything from casual drinks receptions to formal seated dinners.
