Three floors of Mediterranean magic come alive at Arta, right in the heart of Glasgow's Merchant City. We've transformed this historic building into something special - a tapas restaurant where the sangria flows, a Hacienda-style bar where candlelight dances off cocktail glasses, and Canvas, our late-night club that keeps the energy going until 3am. Step through our artwork-laden main bar and you'll find spaces that tell their own stories. Our Courtyard catches everyone by surprise - twinkling lights overhead, the gentle sound of our fountain, and an intimate atmosphere that makes wedding ceremonies and cocktail receptions feel like they're happening in a secret Spanish plaza. The Red Room and Gold Room each bring their own character to private celebrations, from milestone birthdays to corporate dinners. We've become known for our tapas - small plates meant for sharing, best enjoyed with our house sangria or a selection of Spanish beers. Our kitchen team brings Mediterranean flavors to life, creating the perfect foundation for any celebration. When the weekend arrives, something special happens at midnight that our regular guests have come to anticipate. Our event coordinators work with you to shape these spaces for graduations, wedding receptions, corporate gatherings, or birthday parties. We handle live music nights, salsa dancing events, and themed celebrations throughout the year. The flexibility of our three floors means we can accommodate intimate groups in our private rooms or larger celebrations that flow between spaces. We open our doors to the public three days a week, but for private events and weddings, we're available all seven days. Each space - from the Courtyard with its fountain to our candlelit bar areas - offers something different for your celebration.
