Our private dining room at Aspen & Meursault transforms from a sun-filled space during afternoon gatherings to an intimate setting lit by warm pendant lights come evening. We're tucked away on Westbridge Road in Battersea, just a few minutes' walk from Battersea Park station, where the residential streets meet the bustle of South London life. The team behind Diogenes the Dog created our space with a simple goal: make natural wine approachable without the stuffiness. Our colorful, contemporary interior reflects this philosophy - think painted tiles, wooden furniture, and shelves lined with bottles we've personally selected from small organic and biodynamic producers. During warmer months, our courtyard opens up for standing receptions, where up to 30 guests can mingle among potted plants and string lights. We accommodate 14 seated guests in our private dining room, perfect for birthday dinners where everyone can actually hear each other talk. The space works equally well for small wedding receptions - we've hosted countless couples who wanted their celebration to feel more like a dinner party than a formal affair. Our wine-focused events let guests explore different regions and producers, with our staff guiding tastings in plain English rather than wine-speak. Food here centers around sharing - baked Camembert arrives bubbling, cured meats come artfully arranged, and our boozy cheeses pair perfectly with whatever bottle you're working through. From Thursday to Sunday, we serve brunch featuring truffled eggs and cucumber-cured salmon. Everything comes from local suppliers who share our commitment to quality ingredients.
