Since 1996, we've been bringing Manchester's party scene to life right here at Barca Bar in the heart of Castlefield's historic canal district. Our four distinct function rooms each tell their own story - from the marble-accented VIP Lounge to the neon-lit modern spaces of our Sheridan and Hucknall Suites, and the warm, intimate atmosphere of Arch No.8. We've hosted everything from 30-person birthday celebrations to 150-guest wedding receptions, and our team knows exactly how to transform each space for your party. The white footbridge and historic Canal Basin right outside make incredible backdrops for photos, especially during golden hour. Our outdoor terrace - the largest in Manchester - comes alive with its own bar and decked areas where guests naturally drift between dancing inside and cooling off with drinks by the water. Food-wise, we work with you to create exactly what fits your party. We're also licensed for civil ceremonies if you're planning the full wedding experience.
