Two flights up from Brixton's bustling streets, we've transformed the old Department Store into Canova Hall—where those original Edwardian windows flood our space with natural light from morning meetings through late-night parties. Our wood-fired oven stays busy all day, turning out pizzas while our kitchen team prepares everything from scratch, whether that's handmade pasta for your sit-down dinner or sharing plates perfect for mingling over drinks. We built our circular island bar right in the center of everything, making it impossible to miss (and easy to find your way back to). Behind it, our team mixes craft cocktails using spirits from our own in-house distillery—yes, we actually make our own gin right here. The open kitchen means your guests can watch their food being prepared, adding theater to any event. Our main hall fits 300 people standing comfortably, or we can arrange seating for 150 if you prefer a more formal setup. For smaller groups, we offer the Bitters Bar—a semi-private space that keeps the atmosphere intimate while still feeling connected to the energy of the venue. Mobile bar units and drinks trolleys mean we can set up service points wherever works best for your event flow. During the day, we welcome hot-deskers who take advantage of our free Wi-Fi and bottomless coffee. Come evening, the space transforms for everything from wedding receptions to corporate parties. Our events team handles the logistics, working with you to plan timings, layout, and catering options that range from Italian-inspired finger food to full three-course dinners.
