We've been welcoming guests to our Grade I listed estate since before the Domesday Survey, and today our 250 acres of parkland create the perfect backdrop for unforgettable parties and celebrations. Our grand state rooms open up for exclusive use, letting you and your guests experience the full majesty of authentic Gothic-revival interiors. Picture your evening reception in rooms adorned with original architectural features and centuries of collected artwork - spaces that transform any gathering into something extraordinary. For weekend celebrations, we offer 16 bedrooms within the main house, each designed around its unique historical elements, plus six cottages scattered across the grounds for additional overnight stays. The walled garden vineyard produces our own sparkling wine, which you can serve to guests as they arrive or during toasts. Our Stables Tearoom overlooks these vines and serves everything from brunch spreads to afternoon teas, perfect for day-after gatherings or pre-party preparations. The 11-acre lake draws anglers during quieter times, while our woodland paths offer peaceful morning walks for staying guests. We regularly transform our spaces for artisan markets and live performances, so we understand how to help create the atmosphere you envision. Our cookery school can arrange special demonstrations or team activities, adding an interactive element to corporate celebrations or hen parties. The estate's farm and woodland extend across 1500 acres total, with ample parking throughout and multiple outdoor spaces for marquees or al fresco dining. From intimate birthday gatherings in our drawing rooms to grand wedding receptions using the entire estate, we work with you to open up the right combination of our historic spaces and modern amenities.
