About Chapter Edgbaston
Sarah Leigh's dramatic 4.5-meter landscape painting sets the tone at Chapter Edgbaston, capturing the essence of the British countryside that inspires our kitchen every day. We've created a space in Edgbaston Village where guests can watch Chef Director Ben Ternent and his team work their magic through our open kitchen windows, transforming ingredients from local farmers and fishermen into seasonal British dishes. Our building catches natural light throughout the day, creating different moods as your event unfolds. The Bar Lounge works brilliantly for drinks receptions, while our main Dining Room adapts to everything from wedding breakfasts to corporate presentations. When the weather cooperates, we open up both terraces - the front one overlooks Greenfield Crescent and catches the afternoon sun, while our back patio offers a more intimate setting for smaller groups. We've hosted all sorts of celebrations here, from 50th birthday parties in the full restaurant to team-building dinners where colleagues bond over our three-course menus (starting at £31 per person). For less formal occasions, we serve canapés and bowl food that let guests mingle freely. Our bar team has developed a cocktail list that pairs beautifully with the food, and yes, well-behaved dogs are welcome in the bar area. The Good Food Guide recognized us in their Best 100 Local Restaurants for both 2023 and 2024, which we're particularly proud of given our focus on supporting local producers. We're just a short tram ride from Birmingham city center, and we have our own car park, making it easy for your guests to find us. Our events team works closely with each host to ensure the space feels right for their specific celebration, whether that's a product launch, wedding reception, or milestone birthday party.
