About CO-OP MODE

Our community workspace at CO-OP MODE began as something different from typical office rentals - we built this not-for-profit space specifically for game developers, web designers, and immersive tech creators who needed more than just a desk. At 77 Stokes Croft in Bristol, we transformed this location into a hub where creative professionals could actually connect and collaborate on projects that mattered. We designed two meeting rooms with the tools creative teams actually use. The smaller room fits 1-6 people and comes equipped with a green screen for video production, plus a whiteboard and TV for presentations and brainstorming sessions. Our larger meeting space accommodates up to 8 people, featuring multiple whiteboards and a TV screen for group work and client meetings. Both rooms provided the flexibility our members needed for everything from quick team huddles to full-day workshops. What made CO-OP MODE work wasn't just the physical space - it was how we brought people together. We organized regular events where game developers could showcase their latest projects, web designers could share techniques, and everyone could find potential collaborators. Our members had access from 8 am to 10 pm, six days a week, giving them the freedom to work on their own schedules. We kept our prices affordable because we understood the financial realities of creative work. As a not-for-profit, every pound went back into improving the space and supporting our community. While we closed our doors at this location on May 1, 2023, the connections formed here continue to shape Bristol's creative industries. We're grateful to everyone who made CO-OP MODE more than just another coworking space - you turned it into a genuine creative community.
