Running a charity means we understand the importance of having the right space for meaningful conversations and productive meetings. Here at Communic8te Bury on Tenterden Street, we've created meeting rooms specifically designed with accessibility and communication in mind. Our two meeting spaces serve different needs. The Wallwork Room upstairs accommodates up to 16 people and comes equipped with an interactive whiteboard and projector - perfect for training sessions or team meetings where visual aids make all the difference. The Mitchell Room on the ground floor fits up to 20 people and offers similar technology with a projector, screen, and whiteboard. Both rooms rent for £12 per hour. For groups needing computer access, our I.T. Suite provides eight workstations along with an interactive whiteboard and projector. This setup works particularly well for digital skills training or workshops requiring hands-on practice. The suite is available at £30 per hour. As a charity supporting people who are deaf or have hearing loss, we've made sure our building works for everyone. The ground floor Mitchell Room provides step-free access, and we have accessible toilet facilities throughout. Our kitchen is available for refreshments during your booking - sometimes the best discussions happen over a cup of tea. We're open Monday to Friday from 10am to 3pm, with extended hours on Wednesday evenings until 9pm. We also host our own community sessions on one Saturday each month from 2pm to 5pm. Many local organizations use our spaces for support groups, awareness workshops, and community meetings focused on accessibility and inclusion.
