About Cosy Club Nottingham
Our grand Victorian building on Victoria Street has quite the past life—first as Nottingham's reform club, then as the Victoria Club casino. Today, we've brought both chapters together in what's become our largest Cosy Club, right in the heart of the Lace Market. The Imperial Room takes pride of place at the top of the building. With its own bar and space for 100 guests, we've hosted everything from wedding receptions to company award ceremonies up here. The room works equally well for theatre-style presentations, classroom setups, or cabaret arrangements—whatever your event needs. Just next door, The Byron Room offers something more intimate. We've furnished it with an elegant twelve-seat table that works perfectly for board meetings or private dinners. Many groups book both spaces, using The Byron as a quiet breakout area during larger Imperial Room events. Down on the second floor, you'll find The Victorian Lounge, where we can arrange seating for 32 at dinner or set up theatre-style for 40. While this room doesn't have its own bar, we often open up the adjoining Cocktail Bar for reception drinks. Speaking of which, our cocktail masterclasses in this space have become quite popular—nothing breaks the ice at corporate events quite like learning to mix drinks together. Our ground floor Gin Bar creates its own atmosphere entirely. With space for 30 standing, we've seen it transform from morning meeting spot to evening celebration venue, complete with our full gin selection. Throughout the building, we've installed sound systems, presentation screens, projectors, and flip charts in each space. Free WiFi runs throughout. Our kitchen serves breakfast through dinner, with dedicated vegan, gluten-free, and children's menus available. We should mention that due to the historic nature of the building, we don't have wheelchair access—something we always discuss with guests when booking.
