At Duke of Hammersmith, those original ten-foot stained-glass windows catch everyone's eye the moment they walk in. We're right on 238 Shepherds Bush Road, just steps from Hammersmith station, and our building has quite the story - the famous Hammersmith Palais once wrapped around us on three sides. Our Victorian pitch pine cladding and exposed brick walls give the pub real character. We've furnished the space with ochre-yellow upholstered steel-framed benches that have these distinctive fluted backs, mixed with various hard chairs throughout. The conservatory floods with natural light during the day, while our classic bar area keeps that traditional pub feel alive. We pour up to 20 different craft beers on tap, and our bar team crafts cocktails that complement our monster burgers and buffalo wings. The kitchen serves traditional pub dishes with their own twist, plus plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. Wings Wednesday has become a weekly tradition here, and our Weekend Bottomless Brunch and Sunday Roasts draw regulars from across W6 7NL. For parties and events, we offer the whole venue or separate areas depending on your group size. The heated beer garden works brilliantly for summer celebrations, while the conservatory suits more intimate gatherings.
