About Ghost Nottingham
We transformed the original Nottingham Playhouse into Ghost Nottingham, and every weekend we watch this 17a Goldsmith Street space come alive with up to 350 party-goers spread across our two floors. The building's theatrical past shows through in unexpected ways - our raised DJ booth gives performers that same commanding view actors once had, now overlooking dancers instead of theater seats. Our three bars stretch across both levels, each one fully equipped with premium spirits, cocktails, and champagne. The VIP mezzanine sits above the main floor, giving groups their own space while still feeling connected to the energy below. We've installed Pioneer CDJ 3000s and a full Pioneer sound system that fills every corner, paired with programmable club lighting, lasers, and CO2 jets that pulse with the music. When the confetti cannons fire during peak moments, the whole venue erupts. We host everything from corporate product launches to fashion shows and private parties here at Ghost Nottingham. Our kitchen team can prepare continental breakfasts for morning events, or tapas and canapés for evening gatherings. The space adapts easily - we can section off areas for smaller groups or open everything up for maximum capacity events. Local DJs spin R&B and hip-hop on Fridays, while Saturdays might bring international artists playing house or amapiano sets. Each night has its own character, but the fundamentals stay the same: powerful sound, dynamic lighting, and a layout that keeps people moving between floors and bars all night long. Our events team handles the logistics so hosts can focus on their guests, whether that's 50 people for a private party or 350 for a full venue takeover.
