We've transformed what was once an empty riverside space into Gino D'Acampo Quayside, where Italian celebration meets Newcastle's waterfront. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame the River Tyne, filling our restaurant with natural light that changes throughout the day – golden at breakfast, bright during lunch service, and softly glowing as evening settles over the water. Our kitchen runs on Gino's award-winning recipes, served from early morning through to late dinner. The open-plan layout means you can watch the energy of service while your guests enjoy authentic Italian dishes. We've designed our contemporary outdoor terrace to make the most of those riverside views – it's become a favorite spot for summer parties and reception drinks. The lounge bar stocks an extensive collection of Prosecco and sparkling wines, plus Italian cocktails mixed by our bartenders who know their Aperol from their Campari. We also serve artisan beers and offer our Italian twist on Afternoon Tea, complete with gourmet sandwiches, freshly baked scones, and proper Italian sweet treats. Our events floor holds up to 220 guests and comes fully licensed for weddings. We've hosted everything from corporate functions in our smaller spaces to full wedding receptions taking over the entire floor. The terrace works brilliantly for welcome drinks, while our main dining areas adapt to different party sizes and styles.
