Our 17th-century manor house sits nine miles south of Edinburgh in Gorebridge, where we've been welcoming groups for unforgettable celebrations and gatherings. At Harvieston Hall, we can accommodate up to 34 guests across our multiple apartments, each with its own kitchen so everyone has their own space when they need it. The heart of our home is the country lounge where groups naturally gather around the large open fire - it's where the best conversations happen late into the evening. Our dining hall comfortably seats 20-25 people for formal dinners, though we can arrange for larger groups when needed. The gold leaf ceilings and wood-burning fireplace create quite the atmosphere for special occasions. We've found our games room becomes a real hub of activity during parties. The pool table sees plenty of action, and we keep board games and air hockey ready for those friendly competitions that always seem to develop. For groups wanting to add something extra special, we offer a hot tub for hire - it's particularly popular with hen and stag parties. Our mature wildlife gardens provide peaceful spots to escape the party energy when you need a breather. Being just 20 minutes from Edinburgh by public transport (we can also arrange VIP transfers), groups love that they can explore the city during the day and return to their own private country retreat. We host everything from milestone birthday parties to wedding celebrations, hen and stag weekends to family reunions. Corporate groups use our space for team retreats too, finding the mix of communal areas and private apartments works perfectly for both work sessions and socializing. The historic character of Harvieston Hall, combined with all the modern comforts, creates the ideal backdrop for making those memories that get talked about for years to come.
