About Hawksmoor Seven Dials
The old Watney-Combe brewery buildings have been our home since we opened, and these vaulted brick ceilings never fail to catch people's attention when they walk in. We've kept all the original Victorian features - the cast-iron columns are still here, painted and polished, standing between tables just as they have for over a century. Our main dining room fits 120 people comfortably when everyone's seated, though we often set it up differently depending on what you need. The bar area works brilliantly for drinks receptions - we can fit 70 to 80 people standing with room to mingle, or set up tables for 50 if you prefer everyone seated. The basement space has this wonderful intimate feel that regulars particularly love for private gatherings. Food is what we're known for, and our kitchen team takes real pride in what goes out. We work with The Ginger Pig for our beef - all British, all aged for 35 days minimum. Everything comes out family-style in cast-iron skillets, which gets people talking and sharing around the table. The seafood changes based on what's best that day, and we've got an arsenal of sauces and sides that our chefs have perfected over the years. The building has proper air conditioning throughout (a blessing in summer), and we've got strong Wi-Fi that actually works when your whole party needs it. There's wheelchair access to all our spaces, and we can adjust table arrangements to make sure everyone's comfortable. We host everything from big birthday parties to corporate dinners, and cocktail receptions that flow into seated meals. The space has this knack for feeling both special and relaxed - something about those brick arches and the warm lighting that puts people at ease while still feeling like an occasion.
