Walk through our doors at Hoppers King's Cross and you'll find yourself transported to the Sri Lankan coast, complete with terracotta floors that echo beach sand and cast iron-framed glass lanterns casting warm light across hand-carved wooden masks we've brought directly from Sri Lanka. Our restaurant brings the flavors of that coastal journey from Colombo to Galle right here to the canal-side streets of St Pancras. We've designed our space to capture the energy of Sri Lankan beach-side dining. The main dining room buzzes with conversation as groups share platters of crab kari and tear into egg hoppers, while our extended iron-clad bar serves up house-brewed beers we tap fresh daily. Our bartenders mix tropical swizzles and coolers that pair perfectly with the seafood grills coming out of our kitchen. The real gem for party bookings is our leafy outdoor terrace - we call it our verandah. Protected by shelter and warmed by heaters when needed, this green oasis seats 60 comfortably or holds up to 180 guests for standing receptions. During summer months, it becomes the perfect spot for casual celebrations with friends spilling out under the plants and lights. For more intimate gatherings, we offer our Bawa-style concrete-clad bar area or the Coat of Arms dining room. These spaces work brilliantly for groups wanting their own corner while still feeling part of the restaurant's energy. The whole venue can accommodate 130 seated guests or up to 280 for standing events. Our kitchen specializes in family-style feasting - think sharing platters of Kalupol roast chicken, beach-side snacks, and seafood straight from the grill.
