About Horwood House Hotel
Right, so we're one of those converted warehouse spaces in the arts district, but hear me out—we've kept all the good industrial bits while actually making it comfortable. Concrete floors (polished, not rough), steel beams, floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the canal. It's 3,500 square feet of completely open space, which means you can configure it however makes sense. We've done fashion shows down the middle, dinner parties in corners, dance floors everywhere. Capacity-wise, we're talking 250 cocktail-style or 180 seated. The kitchen is restaurant-grade (the previous tenant was a catering company), and we've got this killer sound system installed properly into the ceiling—no ugly speakers on stands. The loading area connects directly to the main space, blessing for anyone bringing in equipment or installations. Parking can be tricky on weekends, but there's a garage two blocks over that we have a deal with. The neighborhood's changed a lot—five years ago it was all artists and empty buildings, now there's craft breweries and boutiques popping up everywhere. Still maintains that edge though. Want to swing by? Tuesday afternoons are usually quiet, and the light through those windows is something else around 3pm.
