We're passionate about bringing authentic Franconian brewing traditions to South London, serving unfiltered and unpasteurized lagers that follow Germany's 500-year-old Purity Law – the real deal, straight from our tanks to your glass. Our space wraps around you with warmth the moment you step inside. We've created a taproom where exposed brick meets German beer hall charm, with room for 35 friends inside and another 20 on our outdoor benches when the weather cooperates. The atmosphere shifts naturally from afternoon pints to evening celebrations, making us a favorite spot for birthday parties, work gatherings, and those impromptu Friday night get-togethers. Beyond our rotating selection of German-style beers, we pour locally distilled gins and mix up cocktails that complement our brewing philosophy – quality ingredients, no shortcuts. We've noticed our Jim & Tonics have quite the following, especially during summer parties on our outdoor benches. Here's something we love about our Brixton Village location: we don't have a kitchen, but we're surrounded by incredible food vendors. We encourage you to grab dishes from our neighbors and bring them in – there's nothing quite like pairing our crisp lagers with jerk chicken from across the way or fresh dumplings from the corner stall.
