About Lansdowne Club
The grand staircase at The Lansdowne Club tells our story before we even speak - this 18th-century building has been hosting London's most important gatherings since 1935. We're tucked into 9 Fitzmaurice Place in Mayfair, where our members and guests step from the bustle of central London into something rather special. Our Art-Deco Dining Room catches everyone's eye first. The geometric patterns and period details create the perfect backdrop whether you're hosting a board meeting over lunch or celebrating with colleagues after closing a deal. Down in the Courtyard Brasserie, we serve seasonal British dishes where you can actually eat outside - a proper courtyard right in Mayfair. The Round Room Cocktail Bar has witnessed countless negotiations and celebrations, its historic walls now home to both after-work drinks and pre-dinner gatherings. Beyond our dining spaces, we've got three squash courts that stay busy from early morning, plus a proper fencing salle - not something you find in many London venues. Our 25-yard Art-Deco swimming pool remains one of the most photographed spots in the building. The gym comes fully equipped, and our personal trainers work with both members staying in our 73 rooms and day visitors. For events, we open up the Ballroom for weddings and corporate functions - the original chandeliers and period features do half the work for any decorator. The Courtyard transforms beautifully for summer parties and product launches. Our calendar stays full with wine tastings in the cellars and the occasional grand ball that reminds everyone why this building has survived nearly three centuries. We handle everything from intimate board meetings to 200-person receptions, with each of our function rooms offering something different. Whether you need somewhere for training courses, exhibitions, or private dinners, we've learned what works in each space over the decades.
