About LOCKES Bar Battersea Rise
Just steps from Clapham Common, LOCKES Bar Battersea Rise brings together cocktails, sourdough pizzas, and the kind of atmosphere that makes people want to stay longer than planned. We opened our doors in February 2024 at 11-13 Battersea Rise, creating a space where the neighborhood can gather for everything from after-work drinks to proper celebrations. Our central cocktail bar anchors the room, with bartenders crafting both classics and our seasonal house signatures while you can watch pizzaiolos work their magic in the open kitchen. The Neapolitan sourdough pizzas come out perfectly charred, made with ingredients we're genuinely proud of. We've stocked the bar with over 20 wines, bottled beers, and spirits that cover all the bases. The space itself flows naturally between different areas – booth seating for groups who want their own corner, high tables for more casual mingling, and what we call the Cosy Corner that works brilliantly for semi-private gatherings. Our sound system deserves a mention too; we've invested properly here because we know the right music at the right volume makes all the difference to a party. For private events, we can accommodate up to 60 guests taking over the Main Bar, 30 in the Cosy Corner, or 6 in our Front Booth for more intimate celebrations. We work with you on tailored party packages – whether that's birthday parties, work events, or just because it's Friday and you want to book somewhere decent. Families with children are welcome until 6pm, after which we transition to an 18+ venue as the evening crowd arrives. Our 4.9 stars on Tagvenue and 4.8 on Google tell us we're doing something right, but we'd rather you come see for yourself what makes LOCKES different from the usual Battersea spots.
