The birds are already singing when we prepare our Water's Edge Room for your morning meeting, their calls echoing across 42 hectares of lakes and meadows right here in Barnes. We're the London Wetland Centre, and while wildlife conservation is our primary mission, we also open our doors to companies and groups looking for something different from the usual conference room. Our Water's Edge Room catches the morning light through windows on two sides, giving your team of up to 110 people views across the pools where herons fish. We've equipped it with a full bar, sound system, and projection equipment - everything works smoothly because we host events here regularly. Just 10 minutes from Hammersmith along the Thames, we're surprisingly accessible for a nature reserve. For drinks receptions, our Observatory steals the show. The 20-meter viewing window frames the entire reserve like a living painting - we've watched countless networking events pause mid-conversation as a kingfisher darts past. Our H2O room handles larger corporate gatherings with 90 seats and all the tech you'd expect, while the Tower Room keeps things intimate for groups of 20. Our in-house catering team knows these spaces inside out. They'll bring you anything from working lunches to formal dinners, timing service around your agenda. We include guided reserve tours in your booking - our guides love showing visiting teams around between sessions. Barnes Bridge station sits within walking distance, but most groups appreciate our free on-site parking. Whether you're planning strategy sessions, team away days, celebratory dinners, or exhibitions, we give you flexibility in room layouts while nature provides the backdrop.
