About New Union Theatre
Theatre spaces can feel stuffy and formal, but that's never been our vibe here at the New Union. We're a stone's throw from Southwark Station, right where the creative energy of SE1 really kicks in. Our main performance space has hosted everything from pitch presentations to stand-up comedy nights, and the acoustics work brilliantly for both. Beyond the theatre itself, we've got this gorgeous little courtyard that people always fall in love with – perfect when you need a breather between sessions or want to host drinks outside. The studio upstairs works great for workshops or smaller gatherings, and our bar keeps things flowing smoothly whether you're running a corporate away-day or an evening networking session. We've kitted the place out properly: professional sound and lighting, reliable WiFi throughout, proper accessibility with a lift to all floors. The air con actually works (trust me, that matters in July), and we've got all the breakout areas you need for those important corridor conversations. What makes us different?
