About Paint the Town
Every table at Paint the Town buzzes with creative energy as brushes dip into paint palettes and hands shape clay into something new. We're a pottery painting café on Onslow Parade in Southgate, North London, where up to 30 guests can spread out across our colorful space and dive into their artistic side. Our shelves hold hundreds of unglazed pottery pieces—from tiny figurines to large platters—ready for your creative touch. Once you've finished painting, we glaze and fire your masterpiece, and it's ready for collection within 10 days. But pottery painting is just the beginning of what we offer. You might find yourself crafting with foam clay, decorating textiles, making bath bombs, or trying your hand at decoupage and acrylic painting. We even create 3D hand and foot casts and clay imprints—perfect keepsakes for little ones. When creative work builds up an appetite, our kitchen serves hot and cold drinks alongside homemade cakes, cookies, and fresh sandwiches. We've designed our space to work for everyone, with wheelchair access throughout, accessible toilets, and baby-changing facilities. Free parking is available both on-site and along the nearby side streets. We run toddler groups and after-school clubs that tie into the national curriculum, making art accessible for young learners. For parties, we tailor each celebration—whether it's a child's birthday bash or an adult gathering—to include pottery painting sessions and various arts and crafts activities. Just a short walk from Southgate station, we're easily accessible from central London. We're open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm, and Sundays from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. We recommend booking your table in advance to secure your spot for parties and group sessions.
