At the Science and Industry Museum, we welcome you to experience Manchester's industrial heritage while hosting your next meeting or celebration. Our home sits on the site of the world's first passenger railway station, and we've transformed these Grade I listed buildings into distinctive spaces for modern events. Our 1830 Warehouse makes quite an impression with its original brickwork and steel beams - the space holds up to 300 guests and works brilliantly for conferences, gala dinners, award ceremonies, and weddings. We find the industrial architecture creates conversations before events even begin. For meetings and corporate sessions, our Lovell Suite provides a focused environment for up to 40 people. We've equipped it with screens, flipcharts, microphones, and conferencing phones - everything runs smoothly from presentations to training workshops. The balcony area outside works perfectly for registration or displaying company stands while delegates arrive with their morning coffee. The Revolution Manchester Gallery brings something different to dinner events and receptions. Our digital media wall and photo chandelier add contemporary touches to the space, while exhibits from Manchester's scientific past create natural talking points. The Power Hall houses the world's first stored computer among other historic pieces - we've seen countless networking events and product launches benefit from these conversation starters. We've recently added a purpose-built studio specifically for virtual and hybrid events, complete with professional streaming capabilities. Our events team handles everything from initial space selection through to catering arrangements, working with you to match the right gallery or room to your requirements. Just minutes from Deansgate and Manchester Airport, we're easy to reach from anywhere in the city. We had an all day meeting at the Science and Industry Museum and couldn't fault the venue. We had the 22 seater Lovell room with the continental breakfast and the working buffet, both were great. We would use again.
