About Searcys at the Gherkin
When you step out of the lift on level 39, the entire city spreads beneath you through floor-to-ceiling windows that curve around the building. We're Searcys at the Gherkin, and from up here, London looks completely different – you can trace the Thames winding through the city while watching trains crawl across the bridges below. Our Helix Restaurant occupies this 39th floor, where we serve contemporary British dishes crafted by our kitchen team. The dining room follows the building's distinctive curved shape, so every table enjoys those spectacular 360-degree views. One floor up, our Champagne and Cocktail Bar on level 40 sits even closer to the clouds. We stock an extensive collection of champagnes and our bartenders create cocktails that match the setting – both classic and inventive. For private gatherings, we've designed five dining rooms on level 38 that work beautifully for different group sizes. The smallest seats 18 for an intimate dinner, while the largest accommodates 60 guests. When clients want something truly special, we can arrange exclusive use of both levels 39 and 40, creating a private venue for up to 260 people high above the city. We handle everything in-house – our catering team prepares all the food in our kitchens, whether you're planning a formal seated dinner or a more relaxed buffet. The space comes equipped with air conditioning and Wi-Fi throughout, and we can arrange entertainment to suit your event.
