About St Barnabas Church Centre
From the ashes of tragedy, something remarkable emerged. St Barnabas Church Centre has quite a story – our beautiful 1823 church building suffered devastating fire damage in 2007, but we came back stronger. Today, we're proud to offer Birmingham's professionals a meeting space that combines Georgian elegance with everything a modern event needs. Our conference facilities have been thoughtfully designed with productivity in mind. Natural light floods the main spaces, the acoustics are superb (a happy accident of church architecture), and we've installed all the tech you'd expect – projectors, microphones, lightning-fast Wi-Fi. The flipcharts and whiteboards might seem old school, but sometimes you just need to sketch out ideas the traditional way. We regularly host training days, board meetings, and corporate workshops. The atmosphere here tends to inspire better thinking – maybe it's the high ceilings, maybe it's the sense of history. Our catering team can keep everyone fed and caffeinated, or you're welcome to make your own arrangements. What makes us different? Well, how many meeting venues can claim they've literally risen from the ashes? There's an energy here that spreadsheets and PowerPoints can't capture.
