Every Friday and Saturday night at The Abbey Tavern, our DJs transform this Kentish Town Road pub into one of the neighborhood's favorite party spots. We've been hosting celebrations here for years, and our mix of indoor and outdoor spaces means we can accommodate everything from intimate birthday gatherings to full-scale venue takeovers. Our function room holds up to 50 standing guests and works brilliantly for private parties where you want your own space but still feel connected to the pub's energy. The real showstopper though is our heated roof terrace - it fits up to 100 standing guests and stays comfortable even in December thanks to our outdoor heaters and coverings. During summer, the terrace becomes an extension of our beer garden below, creating this fantastic flow between spaces. The Jerk Valley of London runs our kitchen, bringing proper Caribbean flavors to the menu. Their jerk chicken has become legendary among our regulars, and we make sure vegetarians and vegans have plenty of options too. On Sundays, we switch things up with our take on roasts - think succulent lamb or cauliflower steaks that even meat-lovers order. We're right near the O2 Forum, so plenty of gig-goers start their nights here. The pub itself has that classic cozy feel - exposed brick, warm lighting, the kind of place where groups naturally spread out between the main bar, garden, and terrace. For full venue hire, we open up the entire place on weekdays, giving you exclusive use of all three levels. Whether you're planning a 30th birthday, an engagement party, or just want somewhere reliable for your group's regular Friday nights out, we've got the space and setup to make it work. Our bar team knows their stuff, the sound system handles whatever playlist you bring, and there's something about this place that just makes parties work.
