We've hosted everything from 30th birthdays where guests spilled onto the landing with their craft beers, to engagement parties where the whole room erupted when the couple arrived. The space comfortably holds groups wanting to move between mingling with drinks and sitting down for our sharing platters - those British classics like our homemade pies always disappear fast. What makes parties work so well here is the flexibility. We arrange the upstairs lounge however suits your celebration, and with the minimum spend hire, you're essentially just promising to eat and drink what you would anyway. The separate bar upstairs means your guests aren't queuing with the regular crowd downstairs, though plenty venture down to catch the football on Sky TV or grab seats in our bustling front bar. The 73 City Road location, just south of Old Street Station, means your guests can easily find us whether they're coming from work or home. We stock those unique craft beers alongside familiar lagers, proper wines, and artisan spirits - basically whatever your crowd drinks, we've got covered.
