Our cocktail bar upstairs at The Black Horse transforms from a buzzing after-work spot to your own private party space. While downstairs keeps the traditional pub atmosphere alive with craft beers and international lagers flowing from the taps, we've created something special on the upper floor - a more intimate setting where up to 70 guests can celebrate away from the Fitzrovia crowds below. The space works brilliantly for birthday parties and office celebrations. We've got two large semi-private booths that groups always gravitate towards, plus high tables scattered throughout where people naturally gather with their drinks. Our mixologists are particularly proud of the Maple-smoked Old-Fashioned - it's become a bit of a signature here, though we craft all the classics and plenty of inventive cocktails alongside our premium wines and spirits selection. What makes parties work so well here is the flexibility. Some groups book just the booths for smaller celebrations of 20-30 people, while others take over the entire upstairs floor. The sound system connects easily to phones for playlists, and with air conditioning throughout, the space stays comfortable even when packed for milestone birthdays or end-of-year office parties. Getting here couldn't be easier - we're at 6 Rathbone Place, just a quick walk from Tottenham Court Road Station. The whole venue has wheelchair access, and we've always been proud to be an LGBTQ+ friendly space where everyone feels welcome. Wi-Fi runs throughout both floors, which helps when someone inevitably needs to share party photos in real-time.
