Every morning at 8 AM sharp, we fire up the kitchen at The Candlemaker on Cannon Street, right across from the station exit. Our chefs start prepping the day's seasonal British dishes while natural light streams through the windows onto polished wood tables. By noon on Saturdays, the whole place buzzes with weekend energy. Our ground floor opens up into different spaces depending on what you need. The main dining room seats 120 comfortably for a proper sit-down meal, while the bar area transforms into a reception space for up to 220 guests. We've installed HD screens throughout - perfect when clients want to combine their corporate gathering with Champions League matches or when birthday groups request the rugby on in the background. The kitchen works closely with local suppliers, changing menus with the seasons. During lunch service, City workers fill tables for business meetings over pan-seared fish and seasonal vegetables. Evenings bring anniversary dinners, hen parties settling into corner booths, and corporate teams taking over entire sections. Our bar stocks exclusive wines you won't find elsewhere, craft beers from independent breweries, and cocktails our bartenders developed specifically for the space. Weekend bookings give you exclusive run of the place. We've hosted everything from 50th birthday lunches to product launches where companies used our projector screen for presentations between courses. Baby showers take over the upstairs room while promotional events spread across multiple floors. Each group works with our events team to create their own menu - no two parties eat the same thing. Bank, Mansion House, and St. Paul's stations all sit within a five-minute walk, making it simple for guests to reach us from anywhere in London.
