Since 1852, The Castle & Falcon has been Birmingham's heartbeat for live music, and we're proud to carry that torch into every party and event we host today. Our 2017 renovation transformed this historic pub into a 400-capacity powerhouse, complete with a sound system that makes every beat crystal clear and every word ring true. We've seen it all here – from UB40's early gigs to Duran Duran finding their feet, right through to Sam Fender and Mahalia lighting up our stage before they hit the big time. That same energy flows through our weekend club nights, where our DJs spin everything from hip hop and soul to indie, house, funk, alternative, and reggae until the early hours. Our two downstairs bars keep the drinks flowing with rotating beers on tap, plus all the spirits, wines, and cocktails you'd expect from a proper Birmingham venue. When you need some air, we've got two spacious smoking areas where half the night's best conversations happen. Behind the scenes, our private green rooms give artists (or your VIP guests) somewhere to decompress before showtime. Rock bands, punk outfits, jazz quartets, blues singers – we've hosted them all, and that musical DNA runs through every private party and corporate event we throw. The same production kit that powers our live shows is yours to use, whether you're planning a company celebration, birthday bash, or any gathering that needs proper sound and atmosphere.
