The Chocolate Cocktail Club on St John Street brings something completely different to Farringdon's party scene. We're the UK's first chocolate cocktail bar, and Tuesday evenings from 6:30pm to 10:30pm, the entire space becomes yours for private celebrations. Our intimate venue fits 30 seated guests comfortably, with room for another 10 standing - perfect for birthday parties, hen nights, or anniversary celebrations where you want everyone to actually talk to each other. The exposed brick walls and warm lighting create that cozy pub feel, but with a twist that gets everyone talking. We've developed over 20 chocolate cocktails that go way beyond just adding cocoa to spirits. The Chocotini has become legendary among our regulars, while the Chocolate Espresso Martini gives that coffee kick with smooth chocolate notes. Our Shamazing Strawberry brings fruit and chocolate together in ways that surprise even skeptics. For friends who aren't chocolate fans, we stock prosecco, bottled beers, wines, and can mix standard cocktails too. We also do proper mocktails - not just juice in a fancy glass. Food-wise, we keep things simple but satisfying. Our sourdough pizzas work brilliantly with the cocktails, nachos keep groups happy during longer celebrations, and our desserts (obviously chocolate-heavy) round things off nicely. The edible chocolate shots have become a bit of a tradition for birthday toasts. Being an over-18s venue means we can focus entirely on adult celebrations. We recommend booking well ahead for Thursday through Saturday slots, as word has spread and our limited capacity fills quickly. Tuesday private hire gives you exclusive use of the space, letting your group settle in properly without the usual bar crowd. At 72 St John Street, we're a short walk from Farringdon station, making us easy for guests coming from different parts of London.
