Right off Stamford Street, we're The Fountain & Ink - your neighborhood British pub that happens to throw brilliant parties. We've been serving the South Bank community for years, and our location between the National Theatre and BFI means we get everyone from film buffs to theatre-goers stopping by before transforming into party central come evening. Our space works beautifully for celebrations. We can fit 150 of your friends standing throughout the entire pub, or if you prefer a sit-down affair, our restaurant area seats 25 comfortably. The high ceilings and large windows create an airy feel that stops things feeling cramped even when we're packed for someone's birthday bash or engagement party. Food-wise, we're proud of what comes out of our kitchen. Our seasonal menu features proper gastropub dishes and small plates perfect for sharing at parties. Sunday roasts are a particular point of pride - we do beef sirloin, mushroom and lentil Wellington, and Suffolk chicken crown. Behind the bar, you'll find an extensive craft beer selection on draught and in bottles, plus a well-stocked selection of spirits and ciders. We regularly host office parties, birthday celebrations, and family gatherings. During big matches, the atmosphere becomes electric - we show live sports on our screens and the energy is contagious. Being just a short walk from Waterloo Station means your guests can get here easily, and afterwards they can wander along the Thames or catch a show nearby. The blend of traditional pub character with modern British cooking and flexible event spaces makes us a natural choice for South Bank celebrations.
