About The Grand
Step inside The Grand on Bridge Street and you'll find yourself in what used to be Warrington's Grand Electric Theatre from 1913. We've kept the building's theatrical heritage alive while creating a cocktail bar that feels both timeless and contemporary. Our bartenders craft each cocktail by hand, and we stock carefully selected wines and craft beers to suit every taste. The art deco touches throughout our space tell their own story - from the plush velvet seating to the rich leather accents. We're particularly proud of our chandeliers, which came from The Savoy in London and cast a warm glow over evening celebrations. When the weather cooperates, our rooftop terrace becomes the star of the show. We've installed a retractable roof so rain never ruins the party, and our fire pits keep things cozy when the temperature drops. For weddings and special celebrations, we transform the entire space to match your vision. Our venue works beautifully for wedding receptions, with room for dancing and mingling across our different areas. We collaborate with trusted local decorators and caterers who know our space inside out, making planning straightforward. Birthday parties here tend to spill between the main bar and rooftop, while baby showers and christenings often prefer our more intimate corners. Every Friday and Saturday, we bring in live entertainment - sometimes tribute bands, other times solo performers who know how to work a crowd. Our cocktail masterclasses have become popular for hen parties and corporate groups who want something different. We run special offers throughout the week: grab 2 bottles of Prosecco for £35 or 5 beers for £15 (except Saturdays). Our afternoon tea service offers a proper spread with sandwiches, homemade desserts, and warm scones. We're open Thursday 12pm-midnight, Friday and Saturday 12pm-2am, and Sunday 12pm-8pm. If you need us on other days for your event, just ask - we're flexible.
