Every Wednesday since 1882, our basement transforms into the heart of King's College London's social scene. We're Guy's Bar, tucked beneath Guy's Café on the Guy's Campus, just steps from London Bridge Station. Our Legendary Sports Night pulls in students from across campus - it's become something of a tradition here. The space itself strikes a balance between pub comfort and party venue flexibility. We've arranged communal tables throughout the main area, with cozy banquettes lining the walls for those who prefer a quieter corner. When events ramp up, we can accommodate up to 300 guests. Our professional sound and lighting system means we're ready for anything from DJ sets to live performances - we've hosted everything from society club nights to milestone birthday parties. Our kitchen team makes all our sourdough pizzas fresh to order, and we've developed buffet menus that work perfectly for larger gatherings. We keep our prices student-friendly, especially during our Wednesday nights when the drinks deals flow as freely as the conversation. Vegetarian, vegan, and halal options are standard across our menu - we make sure everyone's covered. Safety matters deeply to us. We've marked out Safe Zones throughout the venue and work directly with St. John Ambulance during our bigger events. These enhanced measures came from listening to our student community, and they've become integral to how we operate. During December, we roll out special Christmas canapés and dinner packages for end-of-year celebrations.
