Every Wednesday since 1882, our basement comes alive with the energy that makes Guy's Bar legendary. You'll find us tucked beneath Guy's Café on the Guy's Campus, just steps from London Bridge Station, where we've been hosting King's College London's most memorable nights for generations. Step down into our subterranean space and you'll discover a room that adapts to whatever celebration you have in mind. We can arrange modern tables and chairs to seat 120 for a banquet-style dinner, configure theatre seating for 100, or open up the entire floor to welcome 300 guests for drinks and dancing. The exposed brick walls and contemporary lighting create an atmosphere that feels both historic and fresh, while our pool table in the corner adds that classic pub touch. Our bar stretches along one wall, fully stocked with craft beers on tap, premium spirits, and our famous Wednesday night drink specials. Multiple plasma screens and a large projector screen mean we can display presentations for corporate gatherings or stream the match during social events. The professional PA system and lighting rig transform the space when DJs take over, turning quiet dinners into proper dance floors within minutes. Food plays a starring role here. Our kitchen team makes sourdough pizzas from scratch, and we've developed buffet menus that work brilliantly for larger groups. Everything from vegetarian and vegan options to halal choices comes standard, because we know our diverse crowd expects nothing less. During December, we roll out special Christmas canapés and festive dinner packages. The festive lights strung across the ceiling add warmth year-round, while our Safe Zones and partnership with St. John Ambulance during bigger events ensure everyone enjoys themselves responsibly.
