Behind the unmarked doors on Call Lane, we've created something special at The Maven - a genuine speakeasy experience that takes you back to the 1920s. Our bartenders craft each cocktail using ingredients sourced from local suppliers, taking the time to get every drink just right. When the DJs start spinning later in the evening, the disco balls cast patterns across the dance floor and the whole place comes alive. We've designed three distinct spaces for private parties. The Green Room works perfectly for groups up to 50, with its own bar tucked into the corner so your guests never wait long for drinks. Our Monkey 47 Room has character - the decor always gets people talking - and comfortably fits 70 guests with another dedicated bar. For bigger celebrations, The Highland Room opens up to accommodate 120 people, complete with a proper DJ booth and plenty of space to dance. The vintage gramophones and plush seating throughout create that prohibition-era feel without being over the top. We're just a short walk from Leeds train station, which makes getting here straightforward for everyone. Our mixologists run cocktail masterclasses if you want to add something interactive to your event, and we change up our tasting menus with the seasons. Birthday parties tend to start in one of the smaller rooms before spilling onto the main floor. Hen parties love booking the masterclasses. Corporate groups appreciate having their own space with a private bar. Wedding receptions often take over The Highland Room for the whole night.
