Step into The Punch Tavern on Fleet Street and you're walking through the same doors that have welcomed Londoners since the 1840s. We've kept the Victorian soul of this gin palace alive - from the dark oak paneling that lines our walls to the mosaic flooring beneath your feet. Those large canvas paintings of Mr. and Mrs. Punch watching over the entrance corridor? They've been greeting guests here for generations, just like the ornate period details throughout our space. Our bar tells its own story with over 90 gins lined up behind it - we're particularly proud of this collection that's grown over the years. We rotate our London cask ales regularly and keep a solid selection of craft beers flowing. The kitchen serves up proper British pub food: our homemade pies have won awards, the fish and chips come out golden and crispy, and yes, we make our own Scotch eggs. For parties and events, we open up the Editor's Room - it fits 40 people seated comfortably or 60 if you prefer a standing reception. Corporate groups book it for meetings and presentations, while others use it for birthday parties and wedding celebrations. The main bar area and rear dining room offer additional options depending on your group size and style. We keep things lively with our weekly Punch Quiz that draws a regular crowd, plus gin tasting sessions where our bartenders share stories about different distilleries and botanicals.
