Our Victorian pub on King's Cross Road has been hosting parties since we restored this historic building and turned it into a family-run cocktail bar. We've kept the original character while creating distinct spaces that work brilliantly for different types of celebrations. The main bar fills with up to 100 people during parties, with guests naturally flowing between the bar area and our patio garden through the French doors. In winter, groups often gravitate toward our back room where the wood-burning stove creates a warm focal point. The basement has become a favorite spot for more intimate gatherings - the candlelit space with its own private bar holds up to 40 guests and has its own PA system, so you can control the music separately from upstairs. We pour both modern and classic cocktails, keep a rotating selection of craft and draft beers on tap, and our wine list changes regularly based on what we discover from independent suppliers. Bar snacks keep everyone happy throughout the evening. Each floor has independent sound systems, which means wedding parties can have speeches upstairs while the dance floor gets going in the basement, or corporate groups can run presentations in one space while networking continues in another. Birthday parties tend to spread across both floors, baby showers often prefer the garden access upstairs, and book clubs love the basement's cozy atmosphere. We've hosted everything from 25th wedding anniversaries to startup launch parties. Our team knows how to work each space - whether that's keeping cocktails flowing during a packed Saturday night birthday or ensuring the basement stays perfectly lit for an intimate celebration. Both partial and full venue hire are available depending on your group size and the type of party you're planning.
