Gordon Ramsay's kitchen hums just beyond the pass as we prepare for another service at The River Restaurant, here inside The Savoy Hotel. We've watched countless celebrations unfold against our floor-to-ceiling windows framing the Thames – birthday parties where guests pause mid-toast to watch boats glide past, corporate gatherings that turn into memorable evenings as the city lights reflect on the water. Our private dining room has become a favorite for groups of 8 to 12. We designed it to feel exclusive yet comfortable, where business discussions flow as naturally as the wine pairings our sommelier suggests. The main restaurant transforms beautifully for exclusive hire – we've hosted everything from product launches to anniversary parties, each one taking advantage of those spectacular river views. The raw bar stands at the heart of our space, where our chefs shuck fresh oysters and prepare ceviche throughout service. We source UK seafood daily – Cornish lobster, dayboat fish, Scottish langoustines. Our tandoori monkfish curry has become something of a signature, though plenty of guests return specifically for the whole grilled fish we present tableside. We open early for breakfast during the week at 7:00 am, transitioning to lunch and dinner service until midnight. Weekends start slightly later at 7:30 am, closing at 11:00 pm on Sundays. We keep things smart casual – polished but not stuffy, because we want our guests focused on their celebrations, not their attire. Our team has orchestrated countless events here, from champagne receptions in the bar area to multi-course tasting menus that showcase our kitchen's range.
