Two Victorian townhouses from the 1860s make up our home here at The Roseate Edinburgh, where we've created something special in the West End. Just five minutes from Haymarket station, we've watched this neighborhood transform while keeping our own character intact. Walking through our doors, you'll find neoclassical details everywhere - in the moldings, the restored fireplaces, the original staircases. We've paired these heritage features with modern touches that make sense: handcrafted beds dressed in Egyptian cotton, Noble Isle products in the bathrooms, and proper blackout curtains for those Edinburgh summer mornings. Our 35 rooms each tell their own story. Some of our suites feature original four-poster beds, while others showcase those freestanding copper roll-top baths positioned just right to catch city views through tall windows. Every room feels different because, well, they are - these townhouses weren't built for uniformity. The Dunstane Restaurant & Bar has become our gathering place, where Scottish ingredients meet seasonal menus. Behind the bar, we keep over 80 whiskies - some rare bottles you won't find elsewhere in Edinburgh, alongside craft gins from local distilleries. For meetings and celebrations, our Club Prive room accommodates 36 seated guests with natural light streaming through period windows. The Club Prive Conservatory opens onto our private gardens - perfect for smaller board meetings or intimate wedding ceremonies. Corporate groups appreciate our proximity to the airport (under 20 minutes), while wedding parties love the garden photographs.
