About The Union Club
Our 270-year-old Georgian townhouse on Greek Street has been home to The Union Club since 1993, when Pete Cross and Chef Carolyn Dawson transformed these historic Soho rooms into something rather special. We've watched countless business deals unfold over lunch in our bright dining room, where eclectic artwork covers the walls and natural light pours through the tall windows. The Channing Williams Room works brilliantly for smaller meetings – we've hosted everything from board meetings to creative brainstorms in this intimate space. When the weather cooperates between April and October, our roof terrace becomes everyone's favorite spot for informal gatherings or working lunches with a bit of fresh air. Our chef creates a different menu each day, focusing on simple, quality ingredients that keep members coming back. We're particularly proud of our versatility – one day we might host a corporate strategy session, the next a wedding ceremony (yes, we're licensed for those), and occasionally we'll clear the furniture for a film crew or art installation. The building itself tells stories through every creaking floorboard and original feature we've carefully preserved. Being tucked away on Greek Street means you can step away from Soho's energy into our quieter world, though you're still right in the thick of things when you need to be. We handle private dinners regularly, from intimate celebrations to larger corporate events. The whole club can be yours for bigger occasions, or you can book individual rooms by the half or full day for meetings. Our team has been doing this for over 30 years now, so we know how to keep things running smoothly while maintaining that relaxed atmosphere that makes The Union Club what it is – a proper Soho institution that feels more like a well-kept secret than a venue.
