About The Victoria
Fresh oysters arrive at The Victoria every morning from British waters, setting the tone for what we do best here on Grove Road. Our East End pub has been serving Bow locals and visitors since its renovation, and we've built our reputation on sustainable seafood that changes with what our fishermen catch. The pub spreads across two floors with distinct personalities. Downstairs, you'll find our main bar and dining area where the smell of fish and chips mingles with the buzz of conversation. Head upstairs to Victoria's Secret, our first-floor cocktail bar that hosts everything from 30th birthdays to work leaving dos. We can accommodate up to 50 people in our private spaces, or you can take over the whole pub for bigger celebrations. Our kitchen team sources from British shores exclusively - Shetland mussels on Wednesdays for Mussel Club, day-boat cod for our fish and chips, and whatever else looks good at market. We keep vegetarian and meat options on hand too, because not everyone at your party will want seafood. The heated beer garden works year-round, complete with blankets when it's chilly, and yes, dogs are welcome throughout. Being a five-minute walk from Mile End station and right next to Victoria Park means your guests won't struggle to find us. We've hosted everything from 21st birthdays to retirement parties, baby showers to corporate Christmas dinners. Our Happy Hour runs weekdays, which tends to be popular for after-work gatherings. The building itself mixes original Victorian features with the updates from our renovation - exposed brick meets contemporary lighting, old wooden floors alongside modern furniture.
