Sunlight floods through our floor-to-ceiling windows at Toklas Restaurant, where we transform our Mediterranean dining space into the perfect party venue between the Strand and the River Thames. Our restored parquet floors have witnessed countless celebrations, from intimate birthday gatherings to full-scale fashion shows, while the green leather banquettes create cozy corners for guests to catch up between dancing. We've designed our space to flow naturally for parties - the open kitchen becomes a theatrical backdrop where our chefs prepare Mediterranean-inspired canapés and sharing plates, while our bar area, decorated with Wolfgang Tillmans and Ragna Bley artworks, keeps drinks flowing throughout your event. The vintage Scandinavian chairs can be rearranged or cleared entirely, giving you 150 seats inside when you need them, or an open floor plan when you don't. Our planted terrace, created by Miria Harris, extends your party outdoors with space for 100 more guests. From May through October, the heaters and canopies mean you can celebrate under the stars regardless of the weather. We've hosted everything here - product launches that spill from inside to out, wedding receptions where guests move between the terrace and dining room, and summer parties that make full use of our 80-seat outdoor dining setup. The sliding wall is our secret weapon for parties - we can create a private area for VIP guests or open everything up for one flowing celebration. Our bakery adds another dimension, providing fresh pastries for morning events or custom cakes for special occasions. We're fully licensed for weddings too, so whether you're planning your ceremony, reception, or both, our team handles all the logistics while you focus on celebrating with your guests.
